A messenger was suppose to bring a message to Romeo telling him Juliet is not actually dead and that he needed to go to the tomb. When he got there he was suppose to wait till she woke up and then they would run away together with their parents thinking that they are dead. This master plan failed drastically, it lead to the deaths of Romeo, Paris, and Juliet.
