Where is lobstermen filmed

The television crew visited Strahan on the West Coast with a lobster boat to film scenes which will appear in later episodes. Against a backdrop of wild weather and treacherous seas, crews work night and day to haul in hundreds of kilograms of lobsters across decks.

The series documents the fishing action through medical emergencies, mechanical failure, storms and the presence of underwater predators. It talks about how more than 80 per cent of lobsters caught in Tasmania are exported live to China driving the per kilo price.
