What is script error
When this document is loaded in the browser, and JavaScript is executed, the following is output to the console logged via the window. For this reason, browsers only give window. All we know is that an error occurred — nothing else! Getting insight into a JavaScript error served by these files only requires a few simple tweaks.
When this document is loaded in the browser and JavaScript is executed, the following is output to the console logged via the window. For this reason, browsers only give window. All we know is that an error occurred — nothing else! In order to get visibility into errors thrown from scripts originating from different origins, you must do two things. While you indicated you use Chrome as your browser, the verbiage of the messages above indicate they are tied to Internet Explorer, not to Chrome.
Chrome has a different means of presenting this error to the user. There is a chance the error is produced because your default browser is Internet Explorer, not Chrome, and the bookmarks you are clicking on are directing you to IE.
If that's the case, and because IE is now an obsolete program Microsoft updated it to MS Edge with the release of Windows 10 , that may be why the messages appear each time you click on those bookmarks. To fix, start by making Chrome your default browser. If not, then uninstall IE from your Programs list click on Start, locate IE in the list, right-click over it and select Uninstall and update the Chrome browser to its latest version, making sure to choose it as your default browser during the installation process.
Make sure your drivers are up to date as well. If you continue seeing the same script error, or others, obviously more troubleshooting is required. Another thing you can try in order to avoid receiving error messages is deleting temporary Internet files. If there are features or applications running that you do not need, try turning them off.
You might also want to reduce the screen resolution or the number of colors you are currently using.
